Why Oz Music Festivals?
Oz Music Festivals was created in response to what we felt was lacking in Australia. That being a comprehensive, actively curated, listing and calendar of music festivals across Australia no matter their size, location or profile.
- Actively Curated Actively reviewing and updating our calendar is an important part of what we do. Music festivals come and go, change location, and change dates. There are other websites out there that offer details of music festivals, but we feel we stand out in this space by actively curating our music festivals calendar.
- Big and Small, Remote and Urban We will always look to provide for the start up festival, and performers looking to get a start. No matter where in Australia, whether you're new or have been established for 20 years, you're on our radar. Be they big or be they small, This is where you'll find them all.
- All Music Styles From bluegrass to doof doof, Scottish pipe bands to classical. The great thing about music, is that there's a music style for everyone. Oz Music Festivals is here to list all music festivals regardless of genre, style, country of origin....etc
The Future
We'll Continue to Expand and Monitor Our Music Festivals Calendar. We'll continue to expand our music festival calendar listings to include the states and territories of Australia not yet covered - so that in the not too distant future we will truly provide a national music festival calendar for Australia.
A New Service Just Launched. We have just launched a service for performers, musicians and bands called Performer Applications Alert. It highlights opportunities for performers to apply to take part in upcoming music festivals. We're really quite excited about this service and what it offers to performers both Australian and international at a very low cost. We have plans for adding even further value to Performer Applications Alert not too far down the track. Check it out.
