About Us
|
Song has long run through the genetics of Bradley Hall. A Nyiyaparli man from the remote Eastern Pilbara in Western Australia, Bradley is no stranger to both gravel and bitumen roads, travelling and touring with his band throughout West Australia, Queensland and the Mecca for Country music in Australia, Tamworth.
Currently touring his third full length release Back to Country (2018), which garnered much airplay across community stations and ABC nationally, and features several collaborations, including ‘My Heart, My Land’ with three-time Golden Guitar Winner Amber Lawrence. ‘My Heart, My Land’ was added to ABC Local national playlist in 2018 and is accompanied by a stunning clip featuring the vibrant Pilbara landscapes in remote West Australia. These are the places where Bradley roams and writes his country music which draws inspiration from his life travels, connecting with family, fellow remote artists and speaking emotion through his lyrics. Bradley Hall and his band have travelled over 50,000 kilometers across 15 tours throughout regional West Australia, performing at pubs, clubs, mine sites and festivals, including the 2016 North West Festival, alongside artists like You Am I, The Rubens and Sarah Blasko. West Australian Music (WAM) also contracted the band to headline a 10-date tour as part of their Pilbara Touring Circuit initiative in 2016. Bradley’s passion for sharing music is undeniably at a level above most artists. In 2014, he created a Pilbara based music festival, from which the proceeds are donated to suicide prevention causes in the Pilbara region. After three successful years, in 2018 this festival took on a new look as the Red Country Music Festival and featured The Black Sorrows and Amber Lawrence amongst a raft of Pilbara based artists. In 2019, Country music legend Troy Cassar-Daley will headline the festival. In 2019, all ticket sales will be donated to purchasing music equipment and providing music workshops for young people in remote Pilbara Indigenous communities. The country music much-anticipated fourth album by Bradley Hall Band will be recorded in late 2019 and is expected to grow his audience nationally with several collaborations currently being negotiated, alongside a relentless regional Australian touring schedule beginning in 2020. |
