About Us
|
Hannah Campbell is a warm, discerning, and joyfully vulnerable storyteller recently move to the Gold Coast from Melbourne. Her songwriting echoes of folky roots through stories of failings and hopefulness, desire, emotional vacancy, and unspoken truths.
Her performances are dynamic in their emotional intensity, with her trademark undercurrent of honest humility keeping audiences enthralled. Her single Run Like Wolves received high praise from Triple J’s Roots N’ All presenter Nkechi Anele, who said “Her voice is just one of those old timey voices that could be from any generation.” Hannah Campbell’s music seems to gently sidestep any specific category, but when you come to one of her shows you can be sure to experience "a viscerally captivating offering of Folk Alchemy." - AnR Factory |

"Her voice is just one of those old timey voices that could be from any generation. It’s just got this magic to it - similar to Didirri and Angie McMahon I guess - that’s why I really really love that song."
- Nkechi Anele - Roots ‘n All premiering Run Like Wolves

" "There aren’t many tracks that I would refer to as a masterpiece, yet, with Hannah Campbell’s latest single Run Like Wolves that almost sounds like an understatement." (more...) - A&R Factory |
" "A universal voice that would fit in any of the last six decades. Combined with this is an ability to craft simple but affecting songs that are melodic and arresting but don’t sacrifice quality for a hook." (more...) - Overblown |
