About Us
|
Harking back to the days when musicians had a spiritual connection to Jazz. People would pack into gritty smoke filled speak easy’s to be immersed in the uplifting grooves. They’d stomp and shout and dance until they dropped.
Kaboobie are doing their own thing with the beautiful and sassy grooves of the 1960’s Jazz Soul era. They reinterpret artists such as Les McCann, Ray Bryant and Ramsey Lewis in such a way, even two left footers can dance to them (we’ve seen it happen). |
What We Bring
|
Kaboobie are suited to afternoon beer gardens and late night speak easies where people can hang out, chat and drink. Punters often dance and enjoy themselves to the uplifting grooves. They have a large repertoire and can hold their own on a concert stage too. They're an ideal house band for variety nights, cabaret's and Jam sessions.
