About Us
|
Muules have spent the last two years digging deeper, further exploring their progressive alternative rock sound, while still limiting themselves to just bass, drums, synth and vocals. In a heavily guitar-driven genre, the trio have pushed the sonic boundaries to the point of sounding bigger than most five-piece bands around.
Having already released an EP in 2018, followed by a self-produced single earlier this year, Muules will release their next effort - deemed their most adventurous and heaviest so far. Teaming up with Clint Vincent (guitarist for Dead Letter Circus, producer Aerials, Like Thieves) on mixing duties, Muules are going deeper into their sound. This is not your average run-of-the-mill trio. This is Muules. |
What We Bring
|
A bassist that makes his instrument sound like a guitar & bass at the same time, a drummer that packs plenty of punch and groove (and laughs), and the smallest frontman with a massive voice, reminiscent of 90s greats (we often hear the bands Soundgarden, Filter, Incubus, A Perfect Circle all thrown around at us for comparisons). Quite often there's slight confusion from the audience when they hear us playing, but only see a bassist, vocalist and drummer on stage, but it doesn't take long to win them over.
Already released an EP in 2018 (with radio play in the US, as well as on community radio across Australia), the next single will be released on June 21 (2019), ushering in the next phase for Muules. And though we're known for our alternative rock approach, we are also able to tone it down a notch with a semi-acoustic set-up (if need be). |

“I love Muules, such a massive sound and only bass, drums and vocals!! They have had the biggest sound on the gigs I have seen even when the other rock bands had 5 members. Big things to come, watch this space.”
Clint Vincent (Guitarist, Dead Letter Circus / Producer, Aerials)
