COVID-19 And Australian Music FestivalsToday, the Australian Government has announced bans on gatherings of more than 100 people indoors, and 500 people in outdoor settings in an attempt to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus throughout the Australian community.
In this environment, the majority of music festivals scheduled to occur in the coming weeks have been forced to cancel or re-schedule. Music will find a way of course! During periods like these, music plays such an important role in 'escaping' from the every day. But right now, music festivals in their current format are being heavily impacted.
