About Us
|
Peter’s live performances draw from a repertoire of blues, jazz and folk instrumentals. Mostly original compositions with a handful of popular songs, expertly arranged for acoustic guitar.
Performances includes some live looping to provide self accompaniment. Peter is a trained musician, majoring in guitar. He’s performed in many genres over the years, from jazz and blues to pub rock bands. He also studied Jazz History and Jazz Guitar at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He was also a member of the Royal Australian Navy Reserve Concert Band for 2 years. He was a member of the Sydney band Astral Taxi playing bass guitar and keyboards live and on the band’s first self titled release. More recently Peter has settled into a more simple musical life. Performing as a solo guitarist (blues, Jazz, folk) and as one half of an acoustic duo (pop and jazz). |
