Lloyd Dodsworth represents a new exploration of an old medium. Blending folk, rock, pop, soul, blues and metal and ripping it out of a single acoustic guitar, he seeks to bring a freshness to the genre known as 'singer-songwriter'.
With notes of Hall & Oates, the soul of Billy Joel, a major Maynard, like Nick Drake with no brakes, Lloyd burst out of the cultural hub that is Castlemaine, Victoria to take his soulful melodies, insightful lyricism and intense finger-plucktuation to a world that needs it. |
