About Us
|
Melbourne based / New Zealand born Electronic Pop artist James Peden re-brands his music project to RADIATE in September 2018.
The launch of the new name begins with Radiate heading to the streets of Melbourne over the September school holidays showcasing his music around Swanston Street and the Yarra. You will also see him at various venues at Open Mic nights to launch the new venture. Radiate presents an unique blend of electronica, synthpop, inspirational themes and a twist of the 80s that will uplift and encourage those who listen to it. His influences are The Presets, Potbelleez, Sneaky Sound System and Pseudo Echo. Before taking on the name Radiate James achieved recognition in the Unsigned Songwriters Competition for the single Thirst No More in 2017, which gained in the semi-finals of the competition. 17 days later of Thirst No More's release it hit No. 6 on the AirIt Regional download chart. James has released various music releases in the past such as his debut EP 'One', which featured the song 'Tired' which garnered top 30 songs in the Christian Music Charts in 2007. Other releases include Apology and the self-titled release JP. James Peden has been a solo artist since 2005 and has toured around Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Radiate is currently working on a new single called HOPE. The song is to build awareness of the struggles of facing mental health issues or a loss of something you love in life. |
